The Revista científica ciencias de la salud (Rev. cient. cienc. salud), is an open and free access publication, whose mission is the scientific dissemination of research results from the different specialties in the field of health, both national and international. The journal accepts pre-published or pre-printed articles on servers with this methodology.

The Revista científica ciencias de la salud incorporates the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interoperability protocol that allows the collection of metadata by other distribution systems.
